I’m almost certain you were curious on how you can pay bloggers or any content creator for their work without using money. Money is the only currency most people think of, when they hear the word “pay”. However, there are several other ways.
It’s a sad but true fact that bloggers & content creators still do not make money directly from blogging (or creating any content)! Crazy, right?
As a part of their audience, you can open a world of opportunities to them simply by connecting to them on social media and sharing their posts. You can purchase their products (like my launched eBook), utilize their free resources(like my FREE eBooks) and a whole lot of other tips.
– Every tip shared is also applicable to all content creators, regardless of the platform used.
– These tips are ONLY for blog readers and the creator’s audience. Brands and businesses interested in working with bloggers & content creators should always have a budget and pay with money!
1. Facilitate collaborations with Brands
This is not as complicated as it sounds. It can be as easy as tagging them on the social media posts of brands you’d like them to work with and casually commenting a collaboration.
You can also share your thoughts on their blogposts and encourage brands to get featured on their blogs.
2. Spread word about services they offer
A lot of readers don’t realise this but bloggers can get paid to write blogposts. You can share these services on your social media and let people know which blogs you enjoy reading. This may encourage brands to reach out to these bloggers for sponsored posts and ad placements.
You get the blogposts you love, the brand gets more potential customers and the blogger gets rewarded for the value they give: a win-win for everyone.
I offer a wide range of blog services specifically tailored for brands, small businesses & bloggers. You can check them out in my service list .
If you’d like to guest post on my blog, you can also reach out via email.
3. Use their affiliate links
I highlighted in a previous post, how you can support bloggers by using their referral and affiliate links to make purchases. It costs nothing extra and even comes with a purchase discount for you!
Affiliate links are tracked for number of clicks, purchases made through the link, etc. Bloggers can use these reports to pitch sponsored posts and blog ads placement to brands.
You can also use my affiliate link to purchase your domain + hosting services on Qservers.
4. Pay Attention to Blog Ads
If bloggers are successful in getting brands and business to promote their products through blog ads, these brands expect results. A lot of readers avoid ads from advertising platforms like Google AdSense because of fear.
However, custom blog ads are different. These blog ads are created specifically for each brand and are perfectly safe. They will only include genuine links; affiliate or website links.
Check my sidebar ads as a typical example (scroll to the bottom if you’re on mobile.)
Clicking on ads that pique your interest is very helpful because it generates higher numbers for ad performance reports. Purchasing products via blog ads also help to convince brands that the blog ads are indeed generating sales. All of these factors will ensure that brands keep advertising with the bloggers and ultimately, a steady albeit small source of income.
